Specialist in periodontology and oral medicineDr Tamara Ristić holds a PhD in medical sciences and is a specialist inperiodontology and oral medicine.
She began her professional career at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, where, alongside clinical practice, she devoted herself to teaching, research and advanced training in periodontology and oral medicine. During her academic career, she became an assistant professor, contributed to the education of future dentistsand to research projects, and published numerous professional and scientific papers.
At the same time, she developed her clinical practice at Smile Design. After concluding her academic career, she devoted herself to the clinic full-time, continuing a family tradition founded on expertise, trust and an individual approach to every patient.
She is particularly dedicated to treating periodontal disease, preserving natural teeth and managing diseases ofthe oral mucosa. She believes that good treatment begins with careful diagnosis, an honest conversationand a treatment plan tailored to each patient.
Although she continuously keeps up with the latest developments in her field, she believes that knowledge has true value only when it inspires the patient’s trust and enables them to feel safe and know that they have been heard throughout treatment.
